How can I get my husband to put his dishes in the sink?

Have a talk with him. My wife and I talked out that we would take turns doing the dishes. we made everything clear that it must be a team effort. (we don't even have a dish washer) If she cooks I do the dishes and vice verse. Laying things out and making definite decisions is key to teamwork.

o and don't use your body as a bargaining tool. it works but he shouldn't be rewarded for doing something he should do.How can I get my husband to put his dishes in the sink?
Leave them right where he puts them. Clean up after yourself and when you run out of dishes for him to use, tell him you are out of clean dishes. Of if he asks why the dirty dishes are still siting there tell him I am not your personal maid. I asked you nicely to put them in the sink and now you can wash them too.How can I get my husband to put his dishes in the sink?
My husband does dishes occassionally, he used to never put his dishes in the sink OR rinse them, so i would not rinse mine when i put them in there when it was his turn to wash, they are such a pain to get clean that he now rinses his AND the kids' dishes!!
withold the nookie,, tell him you will reward him, if he does put the dishes in the sink... you could tell him everytime he puts a dish in the sink he can put his dish in your sink lol
Hold the remote hostage until he complies with your request. Alternatively, move the Laz-Y-Boy next to the sink, or vice versa. Or serve him on paper plates %26amp; keep the china for yourself.
TRUST ME ON THIS ONE....at dinner time serve him on a dirty plate that he left sitting around, then simply say '; If you had put them in the sink you would have a clean one to eat out of';.
Tell him, then stop having sex with him until he does it. That usually works!
Ask him nicely
Tell him to quit being a lasy a$s
Reward him with a treat. Works for dogs, should work on him.
I wish I knew! he does make it to the kitchen though
