What should I get my husband for our first wedding anniversary?

Its coming up just before christmas and I am searching for a nice meaningful gift. My husband is in the navy and will be going on his first deployment only a month later, he'll be gone for 7 months and I want the anniversary gift to be something he can take with him and be reminded of me back home waiting for him. Any good ideas? What should I get my husband for our first wedding anniversary?
Try a three some....My guess he will never forget thatWhat should I get my husband for our first wedding anniversary?
A few:

A digital picture frame - load it with pictures of you, his family, friends, favorite places to eat/go.

An iPod (if he doesn't already have one) - you can also buy him an iTunes card that will allow him to buy some songs for his iPod. They will print messages on the back, too if you order them online.

A watch - again, you can engrave something on the inside of it to make it more special.

Good luck!

Traditionally it is paper - you could make a collage of your first year of marriage - tickets, photos or you fill a notebook with little love notes and reasons why you love him.

I would send him paper...a card or a letter would be all that he needs. Send him your feelings on a long long letter and have him read it each night to remind himself of how much you mean to him.

Next give him a condom and tell him to use it. Wrap that sucker.
Buy him a good perfume, watch or T shirt. Visit the following link to make some shopping here.
